How long will it take to design a Web site for my business?
The process is largely dependent upon you as we'll rely on your initial information,
feedback, and continued communication to help your web site reach it's full potential.
Under most circumstances, we can finish your site in anywhere between a week to a month.
It might take longer for sites with added features like databases, Login/secure access
etc.

What is site maintenance? Do I need it?
Site maintenance provides unlimited minor changes to your web site after the initial
launch. This does not include the addition of new pages or major changes, such as an
entire page revision. If your web site will require at least one change a month, a
maintenance agreement is more cost efficient.

Are the web templates you provide unique too?
We assure you of a unique design even with our templates as once you choose a
design and decide to go ahead with the development, it is removed from the list and will
not be sold to any other client. So basically you would still get a unique design.
Also we don't just send you the template as is. We will customize it for your
business. Design will remain constant but minor changes like color, menu items
can be modified to suit your requirements.

What is a domain name and how do I get one?
A domain name is a unique name that identifies an internet site. To get one
for your website you have to choose and register a specific name.
For example, our domain name is artisticpixels.com. Be sure to reserve your
domain name from a reliable registrar. We do not offer Domain names registration
but we will be happy to assist you in choosing a registrar.

What is an Internet Service Provider?
An Internet Service Provider (ISP) is a company which provides access to the
Internet to organizations and/or individuals. Access services provided by ISPs
may include web hosting, email, VoIP (voice over IP), and support for many other
applications. Access provided can be dial-up, cable modem or DSL. You usually also
get a few email accounts through your ISP.

What is a Web host? Do you provide this service?
Web Host is a company which keeps websites on their computers for public access.
If you are paying for a company to host your website, make sure they provide redundant
backups, fast and friendly support, access to your logs, and cgi script access and
support.
Artistic Pixels does not provide hosting services, but we will be happy to help you
decide on a web host and get started on an account.

What Software do you use to develop websites?
For Web designing and publishing, we use HTML hard-coding, Homesite and Macromedia
Dreamweaver. All of the above generate very clean HTML code that meets W3C validation
standards.
For Web graphics and Logos, we use Adobe Photoshop, ImageReady and Illustrator. They
provide clear, compressed graphics that load fast so as not to keep your
visitors waiting.
Some other products that we use include Macromedia Flash, ASP, SQL, Java.

Who owns the final product uploaded?
Once the final payment is received, you will receive 100% ownership of
your Web site.
You will own the rights to the custom design, code, and any other work we do for you. As for
the custom graphics, you will own them yourself, but we will retain the files we used to
construct the graphics.

What kind of guarantee do you offer?
We completely guarantee our design work. After viewing the initial design drafts,
if you are not satisfied and wish to discontinue work on the site, we will
refund 100% of your deposit.
If you decide to continue to work with us, we offer you unlimited revisions to
the design drafts until the point that you are 100% satisfied. We also provide
unlimited revisions when the website is in the development process.

After completion of the site, can I make changes on my own?
Yes, you can make minor changes to your site like update the text content
on your own using Microsoft FrontPage. You will need to know (or learn) how
to transfer files to and from the web.

What is your payment policy?
We receive 50% of your estimated total as a deposit prior to beginning work. We accept
Cheque or PayPal payments. The final payment is due immediately upon completion
of the project and before the completed work is handed over to you.
